# Unsubscribe outcomes and what each one means

> What Stopped, Reduced, Still emailing, Started again, Checking and the other labels mean on your unsubscribed list.

Sending an unsubscribe request is only half the job. Some senders ignore it. So after you unsubscribe, ClearMyInbox watches your mailbox and gives each sender an outcome based on what they actually did.

You find the outcomes on the **Unsubscribed** page, which lists every sender you have acted on.

## The outcomes

| Label | What it means | What to do |
| - | - | - |
| **Checking** | We sent the request and are waiting to see whether the emails stop. The row shows when the next check is due. | Nothing. See [How we check](/verification). |
| **Stopped** | Verified: no emails, or almost none, since we asked. | Nothing. It worked. |
| **Reduced** | Fewer emails than before, but not zero. The row shows the numbers before and after. | Wait, try again, or block the sender. |
| **Still emailing** | The sender is emailing at the same rate as before. They ignored the request. | Block the sender, try again, or report them. |
| **Started again** | The sender stopped after we asked, then began sending again. | Block the sender. |
| **Couldn't check** | Your mailbox was disconnected before we could check. | Reconnect the mailbox and we will check again. |
| **Didn't go through** | The unsubscribe request itself failed, for example because the sender's link was broken or expired, or the page asked you to sign in. Hover over the label to see the reason. | Choose **Try again**, or block the sender. |
| **Emails deleted** | You deleted this sender's emails but did not unsubscribe. | Nothing, unless you also want to unsubscribe. |
| **Re-subscribed** | You told us you signed up to this sender again, so we no longer count their emails as a failed unsubscribe. | Nothing. |

## The tabs at the top

The tabs group the same outcomes:

* **Stopped**: senders verified as stopped.
* **Reduced**: senders that send less than before.
* **Ignored you**: senders that are still emailing or started again.
* **Checking**: senders we have not finished checking, including ones we could not check.
* **Deleted**: senders whose emails you deleted without unsubscribing.

## What you can do on a sender that ignored you

* **Try again** sends the unsubscribe request once more.
* **Block** moves their future mail out of your inbox. Blocking is part of the paid plans that include it. See [Blocking versus unsubscribing](/blocking-versus-unsubscribing).
* **Report them** opens our [complaint letter generator](https://www.clearmyinbox.ai/tools/spam-complaint-letter-generator), which writes a UK GDPR complaint letter you can send. We do not send it for you.
* **I've re-subscribed** tells us you want this sender again.

## How unsubscribing works on each plan

* **Opening the sender's own unsubscribe link yourself** is always available and is not counted.
* **Automatic unsubscribing**, where we send the request for you, is limited to 10 a month on the Free plan and is unlimited on the paid plans.

See [pricing](https://www.clearmyinbox.ai/pricing) for the plans.
